The German exams offered by the Goethe-Institut correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and range from level A1 for beginners to C2 for the most advanced language learners.

We will inform you here about frequently asked questions on the examinations of the Goethe-Institut.

Are you having difficulties learning German? Are you having trouble doing your homework? Are you confused about what media and learning materials are best suited for your level and self-study? To solve these difficulties, the Goethe-Institut Myanmar's language department and the library will organize a program called "Lernberatung" for our students.

The Goethe-Institut Myanmar is organising the monthly DeutschCafè for all those learning German in Myanmar. This is an opportunity to talk to our German guest speakers and the teachers from the Goethe-Institut about the German language, culture and regions, and - of course - to practice your German! No month is the same, as there will be different guest speakers and topics each time. Coffee and snacks are also provided. Sounds great, right?

 

The Goethe-Institut Myanmar is organising a monthly movie night for everyone interested in learning more about the German language, culture and traditions. This is also a great opportunity for those who are currently learning German to improve their understanding and language skills by watching German films. Every month we show a different film, and anyone can join free of charge!

Learning is better together: In our online community, you will find more than 260 German exercises for all levels, free of charge – as well as other people to practise with. Meet new people, compare notes and improve your language skills together.

You will find a selection of media in German language and in translation in the library: books, magazines, films, music, apps and games. Membership for language course participants at the Goethe-Institut is free and valid for the duration of their course. Find out more about current topics and trends, and get to know Germany!
