Activating pupils is one of the most important – and sometimes most difficult – challenges any teacher faces. The Goethe-Institut Myanmar has therefore put together a series of cultural events and competitions designed to help you motivate your pupils and to make learning German more fun.

Das bin ich und das kann ich - Video Competition

This competition offers learners of the German language an opportunity to present their language skills in a creative way and above all wants to motivate to continue their learning.

DABEI SEIN! – Internationale Deutscholympiade Dresden

The last Internationale Deutscholympiade, the world’s biggest German language contest, was held this year from 3–7 August 2020 in an innovative virtual format with ample opportunity for participants to get acquainted online. This year’s motto was "Be there! – The IDO comes to you." More than 100 high school students from over 50 countries were meeting up online for the 2020 finals, to compete in the finals in their favorite foreign language.

Märchenwelten

Ob Heldin oder Held, Zauberei oder Tiere, die Ausstellung zur Märchensammlung der Brüder Grimm führt in sieben Stationen durch die wichtigsten Motive in deutschen Märchen. Die Ausstellung enthält viele Elemente zum Hören, Sehen und Mitmachen.
