The Silence(d) Concert takes place on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. The event addresses the fact that significant classical works in music history, particularly those by Jewish composers, were largely forgotten as a result of the Nazi regime and World War II. Even today, these works are rarely performed and remain largely unknown. It is time to rediscover them.
The concert by klang.kunst showcases forgotten compositions and introduces their composers, who were persecuted by the Nazis, to the Thai audience.
Works by:
Aleksander Tansman
Leo Smit
Günter Raphael
Erwin Schulhoff
Carl Frühling
Musicians:
Sanook Boonpan, Flöte
Gun Chaikittiwatana, Klavier
