TDBKK 2026 stands as the premier regional hub and the largest gathering connecting artists, designers, technologists, educators, and creative industries across Southeast Asia. We serve as a direct bridge linking our rapidly accelerating creative tech community with the global ecosystem. By breaking down traditional barriers, TDBKK unlocks exclusive opportunities to showcase groundbreaking work and drives genuine professional growth in creative careers.

Spanning 5 days across two main venues (Goethe-Institut Thailand and Bangkok Kunsthalle), the event features a comprehensive programme designed to teach through experience and showcase groundbreaking work, with key highlights at the Goethe-Institut Thailand including:

30–31 July 2026 at the Goethe Saal: Intensive, hands-on workshops diving deep into real-time graphics, Interactive Visuals, Sensors, and connected audiovisuals using TouchDesigner , led by internationally renowned instructor Dan Molnar (Function Store). The session on 31 July will culminate in an exclusive venue-transformation DJ showcase by the NON NON NON collective, featuring Mae Happyair, Gres Teh, and Soup Snakes.
  • Workshop 1: Intro to Interactive Visuals & Sensors with TouchDesigner**
For practitioners with a basic TD background. Build visuals that respond to motion, sensors, and real spaces. Webcams, Kinect, LIDAR — getting that data into TD and designing for galleries, stages, and screens.
  • Workshop 2: Interconnected Audiovisuals with TouchDesigner and Bitwig**
For practitioners with basic TD and any audio software experience. Link TD and Bitwig natively via TDBitwig. Cross-modulate sound and visuals — Bitwig data driving generative networks, TD pixel data shaping instruments and effects.

This workshop supported by Bitwig. Every participant in Workshop 2 will also receive a free Bitwig 8-Track serial to use during the workshop and keep exploring after.

1 August 2026 at the Goethe-Institut Thailand: Insightful panel discussions and artist talks featuring 10 -15 industry-leading speakers , including Patrick Hartono (Lecturer at RMIT Vietnam and Goldsmiths alumnus) and Dan Molnar. The evening will feature captivating Live A/V performance, creating crucial opportunities for artistic innovation and direct audience engagement.

Additionally, the TDBKK 2026 programme will continue with further exhibitions and showcases at Bangkok Kunsthalle from 3–4 August 2026.

By providing a continuous platform to connect, share practices, and openly discuss creative processes, TDBKK is dedicated to building a tight-knit, sustainable community that serves as a direct investment in education, innovation, and the forward-thinking regional creative economy.
