Hong Kong: RAY LC,
CK FUNG, Carman Wong

RAY LC’s practice incorporates cutting-edge neuroscience research for building bonds between human communities and between humans and machines. His category-debunking, anti-disciplinary, radically in-depth approach combines interactive media with foundational scientific discoveries in neuroscience, applying them to transformative goals for social good. He works in the media of installation art, human-robotic interaction, and speculative narratives. RAY LC is assistant professor at City University of Hong Kong School of Creative Media.

CK FUNG is an augmented reality designer and a digital artist who is based in Germany and England. Her work in augmented reality, also known as AR, deals closely with social media and how this realm of the digital age both regulates and inspires self-expression. As a digital designer and artist, she aims to harness technology to move forward and question existing thinking structures such as identity, visual art, interaction, and ethics through the self and engagement with the world. Recently, she has exhibited her work at the 5th PASA Digital Art Festival. Due to the nature of digital media, her practice has no barriers and thus works with clients all over the world.

CARMAN WONG is an interdisciplinary artist whose work uses mediums including digital, 3D graphics, coding, design, and sensors to express the curiosity within humans and computers. She creates artworks drawing inspiration from life and work, as well as from living in Hong Kong and around the world. She also helps other artists realize their works through technology. She is constantly experimenting through new ideas and research. While based in Hong Kong, she connects with people worldwide to explore collaboration without borders.
