To the 2026 FIFA World Cup with the Goethe-Institut

This professional development workshop presents current didactic approaches as well as a wide range of materials on the topics of sport, movement and football, specifically tailored to the needs of different learner groups. In addition to general information about sport, football, and the World Cup, newly developed teaching materials will also be introduced. These are designed to support teachers in implementing the topic in a varied and motivating way in the classroom and to sustainably spark learners’ anticipation and enthusiasm for the upcoming tournament.
