About DLL 8: German for Children
- Participants know the phases of first language acquisition and know how early multilingualism influences how children learn second or world languages.
- Participants are familiar with the linguistic learning objectives of early world language instruction as well as the techniques and types of exercises for training listening and speaking skills.
- Participants know the importance of pronunciation and intonation as well as activities for acquiring vocabulary.
- Participants know the function of rules and routines in the classroom.
- Participants know the criteria for selecting topics and learning materials and can select and modify suitable material for their target group.
