The eLibrary is the virtual library of the Goethe-Institut New York for the USA. This service allows you to borrow digital media for a predetermined period of time.
Rentals from our film archive are currently not available.
Our collection contains over 1090 titles on digital formats (DVD and blue ray). The films can be rented for non-commercial screenings by cinematheques, film clubs, film festivals, and other cultural and educational institutions. Please note that the standard is PAL – you would need a multistandard DVD-player.
If you are planning a “German Day” or another event to advertise German language study at your school, we will be happy to send you promotional materials such as posters, buttons, stickers, pencils, and flyers.
