The innovative concept of DLL (Deutsch Lehren Lernen) focuses on daily practices and challenges you may face in a German language classroom and highlights key players and fundamental elements of instruction. Topics such as language skills, grammar, vocabulary, phonetics, literature, classroom formats, etc. are integrated into a competence-driven teaching concept. Format: 100% online (synchronous and asynchronous on the learning platform Moodle

About DLL 10: German for Teens

  • Participants can differentiate the various learning behaviors of young people from that of children and adults and know how this impacts their lessons.
  • Participants are familiar with the framework conditions and external factors that influence German language lessons for young people.
  • Participants know which curriculum requirements apply for German language lessons and the broad range of skills that German lessons for young people should develop.
  • Participants know which traits a good teacher for young people should have.
  • Participants know how lessons for young people can be structured based on specific lesson plans and projects by experienced teachers.
