SPARK Workshop: Sport and Movement for Young Kids

In this virtual workshop, methods and materials on sports, movement, and soccer are presented, developed for primary school children in DaF/DaZ classes. Teachers are provided with ideas for making lessons playful and motivating, materials for different language levels, and ways to combine football, movement, and learning German. Information about the Soccer World Cup and related learning activities is also provided. The goal is for lessons to be designed in a varied, practical, and child-friendly way, while children’s enjoyment of movement, teamwork, and language learning is fostered.
