Resources for parents

It's impossible to overestimate the importance of parental involvement in child's first or subsequent language learning and the development of cultural literacy. If you wish your child could learn German at school in an immersion setting and there are no immersion programs where you live, you may need to work with other parents and your local school district on establishing such a program -- and we can show you how! If your child is already enrolled in a German immersion program or acquiring German through daily interactions at home, we offer you resources for supporting your child's language development and promoting their continued interest in all things German.
