Join us at a two-day festival by world-renowned, Berlin-based jazz label jazzwerkstatt at Roulette in Downtown Brooklyn. Both New York and Berlin-based musicians will perform at the festival on April 20 and 21, an opportunity to exchange ideas, get to know each other, and consolidate existing contacts.

Performers and groups include Derek Plays Eric, the Wolfgang Schmidtke Orchestra, Julie Sassoon, Michael Moore, Greg Cohen, & Joe Hertenstein, and Thomas Krüger with Anke Lucks & Potsa Lotsa.


Ulli Blobel is the founder of Berlin label and concert series jazzwerkstatt. Named after the legendary Jazzwerkstatt Peitz festival—a nexus for free jazz and improvisation since its beginnings in the GDR in 1973—the label continues to shape the image of jazz in Germany’s capital.
