Radio brings together the works of Hagen Eberle and Matthias Holznagel during the institute’s yearend closing period. Situated in the front window of the exhibition space and its surrounding area, Radio comprises sculptural scores “broadcasted” to New York. Admitting no one in the space, the show addresses the passerby, both strolling and rushing. Conceptual interventions by artists question circulations and constellations in relation to the audience.

New Cameron is a curatorial project collaboratively organising exhibitions. It is formed by Jesse Schmeller and Liz Josephine Köhnke.

Hagen Eberle (b. 1998, Geislingen an der Steige) lives and works in Frankfurt. Originally trained in photography and sculpture, his work grapples with the idea of capturing realities. He has been studying at the State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe and the Städelschule Frankfurt.

Matthias Holznagel (b. 1999, Freiburg) lives and works in Germany. His work focuses on the construction of images. Working across different media, he develops arrangements that range from situational interventions to planar forms. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and at the State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe, where he graduated in 2025. Selected exhibitions include Badische Landesbibliothek, Karlsruhe; Braunsfelder, Cologne; Courtney Jaeger, Basel; Kunsthalle Basel; Kunstverein Zink, Vienna; and WMP, Hamburg.
