Which career opportunities open up for you when learning German?

The Goethe-Institut Washington once again invites interested German students and teachers, as well as representatives of German businesses and experts in the field of studying and working in Germany to our Career Day at the Goethe-Institut in Washington, DC. Contributing partners such as the German Academic Exchange Service, German Center for Research and Innovation, or Representative of German Industry and Trade offer many diverse opportunities for information and exchange surrounding the topic: Which career opportunities open up for you when learning German?

Starting at 10:30am, high school students will have the opportunity to attend various presentations on the advantages of and the opportunities with German.* In addition, students can stop by the info-booths of our partners to receive more information and have their questions answered.

Starting at 2:00 pm, the German Embassy together with the Goethe-Institut will open the afternoon program by introducing the panel discussion “How German(y) Made My Career”. The following afternoon presentations will be geared mostly towards college students and graduates by providing insight about the career opportunities that open up with German language proficiency. The Networking event at 5:00pm will conclude the evening program of the Career Day.

We look forward to welcoming you at the Goethe-Institut Washington on May 12th!
