Curated to counter the overwhelming wars, crises, and polarization that characterize our everyday lives, “Alles Liebe” is a yearlong Goethe on Demand series that showcases the most beautiful feeling in the world in its many facets—romantic love stories, unconventional relationships, and stories of care, friendship, and loyalty. Stream a new film every month, always for free! Physicist Aron and grocery store worker Nora have different ideas about love and fate—he believes they were destined to meet, while she believes it was sheer coincidence. After Aron dies while trying to intervene in a bank robbery, Nora struggles with her grief and finds comfort with her new acquaintance, Natan, who increasingly reminds her of Aron. As their relationship grows, Nora finds herself remembering Aron’s musings on the relative nature of time and how our past, present, and future are interconnected.

“Performance-wise, this is Rosendahl’s film. Combining the verve of her turn in Never Look Away with the thorniness of her breakout role in Lore, she’s a naturalistic ball of internalized conflict—and, fittingly, Relativity’s constant center.” (Screen Daily)

Relativity premiered at the Munich International Film Festival. Director Mariko Minoguchi won two German Film Critics’ Awards for the film: Best Screenplay and Best Feature Film Debut.
