Right at the Red River's bank, you can explore a magnificent bird world with over 140 resident and migratory species, including rare ones.This is one of the unique, lesser-known migratory routes, filled with fascinating secrets!

Join the Birding Tour—a wonderful nature experience as part of the "What do birds tweet about?" project. Immerse yourself in the green natural space, and if you're lucky, by staying quiet and observing carefully, you'll be able to admire birds soaring, hopping from branch to branch, and hear their delightful chirping.

This is a special opportunity to join a meaningful morning, guided by biologist Nguyen Hoang Hao and members from Think Playgrounds. With many years of experience in wild bird conservation and urban ecological development, the team of experts will lead you to explore the magical world of birds, share stories, and teach you scientific observation methods.

The Birding Tour will also feature special participation from the German artist collective Baltic Raw Org, who will engage you in a conversation about the deep connection between art, humans, and nature.

EXPERTS

Nguyễn Hoàng Hào

Der Ökologe Nguyễn Hoàng Hào ist derzeit stellvertretender Vorsitzender der Vietnam Bird Conservation Society (VBCS). Er gilt als Forstwirtschaftsexperte mit über 20 Jahren Erfahrung im Bereich Naturschutz und Renaturierung. Er unterstützt Forschungsarbeiten und fördert die Umsetzung von Gesetzen zum Schutz von Wildtieren, insbesondere von Wild- und Zugvögeln. Sein Tätigkeitsfeld reicht von der Überwachung der Auswirkungen von Windenergieprojekten auf Vogelpopulationen bis hin zur strategischen Beratung für Grünflächen und ökologische Parks in Großstädten wie Huế, Hội An und Hanoi.

Darüber hinaus spielt er als Experte am Vietnam Forest Resources Museum eine Schlüsselrolle beim Aufbau und der Verwaltung von Datenbanken über Flora und Fauna, in der Umweltbildung sowie bei der Sensibilisierung und Kommunikation zum Schutz ökologischer Lebensräume. Mit fundiertem Fachwissen und umfangreicher Praxiserfahrung leistet der Ökologe Nguyễn Hoàng Hào einen bedeutenden Beitrag zur Erhaltung der biologischen Vielfalt, insbesondere in den urbanen Gebieten Vietnams.
