Savage Club Hanoi

One year ago SNUG was founded, a monthly queer night dedicated to the burgeoning LGBT movement in Hanoi. A comfy yet intense place where diversity is celebrated.

Music has always been at the centre of these events. It has been important who’s moderates through the night and takes the guests on a faraway journeys. They are very often well-known DJs such as Jonathan Kusuma from Cocktail D’Amore or Chris Cruse from Spotlight LA.

The first anniversary of SNUG will be celebrated in cooperation with the Goethe-Insitut, a long-term supporter also of Viet Pride. You can look forward to a night full of music with DJs from everywhere. The Savage Club will its doors for 24 hours, from Saturday 6 PM to Sunday 6 PM so that every great artists can be heard.

From Germany we expect DJ Boris. He brings his greetings from the Berlin clubs scene. His musical roots go back to New York, where he absorbed the unique spirit of the club Paradise Garage and transformed into his own art. Nowadays his musical spectrum ranges from Disco, Hi-NRG, Post-Punk and (Kraut-) Rock to House and Neotrance, all of which Boris loves to throw into one set. He worked for a long time in the Panorama Bar Berlin and later changed to Club Berghain. Since 2005 he is also taking care of the label Careless Records as an A&R.

Roi Perez also lives in Berlin and works as a music selector for Phonica Records. Since 2013, he has worked as DJ at the Fetish Club Lab, the Oratory and Berghain’s Panorama Bar. Originally, he comes from the queer clubbing scene of Tel Aviv. In the meantime he has been around worldwide. His style is a mixture of house and techno, disco and electro, which offers strong, mesmerizing musical experiences.

There will be more exciting artists like Chrissy from Smart Bar Chicago. More Information about the artists and about the anniversary can be found at:
