Postnatural Independent Program 2026

The Postnatural Independent Program 2026 (PIP26) by the Institute for Postnatural Studies is a hybrid learning space that provides theoretical tools, embodied learning, community-building spaces, and expertise to define and examine postnature as a framework for contemporary creation.
PIP26 offers an experimental platform for ecological thinking and cultural initiatives in an expanded virtual campus, approaching participants’ potential through holistic mediation. The program is accompanied by renowned international thinkers and complemented by collective practice laboratories.

Conditions of funding

Artists, curators, philosophers, designers, scientists, researchers, educators, mediators, and anyone interested in exploring contemporary ecological debates. Applicants must be residents of Germany.

This scholarship covers the full tuition fee and includes accommodation at the Goethe-Institut's residency facilities in Madrid during the in-person encounters.

Quality of the application, relevance in the local scene, previous artistic, theoretical, scientific, and educational practice.
