Alumni work

For our successful graduates who have begun a STEM or economics degree at one of our partner universities, we promote exchange and networking – through alumni meetings, workshops on career paths in science, research and start-ups, as well as opportunities to participate as tutors in the program.

Alumni networking event and highlights

Our alumni meetings at German universities have established themselves as a central platform for exchange and networking.

International graduates who have pursued studies in STEM fields or economics come together to network and learn about career paths in academia, research, and industry.

A particular highlight of the 2025 networking event was the excursion to the BRYCK Startup Alliance – a leading deep-tech innovation center in the Ruhr region that supports research-based startups in bringing their technologies from idea to market.

Creative formats like our popular "Science Slam" round out the events. Here, alumni passionately present their fields of expertise – from e-mobility and biochemistry to risk governance or, for example, robotic process automation (RPA).And sometimes things get particularly original: For instance, there were recent discussions on how blockchain technologies could make the work of employment agencies more efficient – a presentation that, with a touch of humor but in a thoroughly professional manner, opened up new perspectives. Another presentation explored how robots can make our work easier:

"When it comes to robots, many people probably immediately think of Optimus Prime or Bumblebee Transformers, but RPA robots have no shape. Logical/virtual robots are used to automate boring and repetitive tasks. RPA robots are stupid. They can only do what you teach them."
