Internship at the Goethe-Institut Bangladesh  

Duration: 5 September 2025 -  5 February 2026 (6 months)

The Goethe-Institut is offering a full-time internship with a monthly expense allowance. This opportunity is ideal for university students in their final year of a Bachelor's degree, preferably studying Journalism, Communications, or Media Studies. As an intern, you will be actively involved in the regular work and programs of the Communications Department, as well as supporting the library department.

WE OFFER INTERNS THE CHANCE TO:

  • Gain insight into the Goethe-Institut’s work in communications.
  • Co-develop the Institut’s press and public relations efforts, including digital formats for projects and events.
  • Contribute to the development of our online portal,www.goethe.de/dhaka.
  • Support the Institut’s social media activities.

WE EXPECT FROM INTERNS:

  • Good knowledge of digital media and communications in Bangladesh
  • Creativity and ability to conceptualise ideas into projects
  • Very good command of Bengali and English
  • Affinity to Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Willingness to complete routine tasks
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • An open and friendly manner
  • IT skills with MS Office, photo/illustration programmes as well as ZOOM

DOCUMENTS TO BE PROVIDED:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) of max. two A4 pages in English with recent photograph
  • A motivational letter of max. one A4 page for the position (in English)
  • University certificate of your bachelor degree, if available
  • Proof of earlier experiences (certificates) relevant for this position
