To take the exam, you must submit a declaration of consent regarding data protection. You can download it here and send it back to us signed, or submit it on the day of your exam.

General terms and conditions:

  • The registration must be received by the Goethe-Institut at least 14 days before the date of the exam.
  • The exam fee must be paid no later than the following working day.
  • In the event of an illness or force majeure :
    • If the exam candidate is unable to attend due to illness or force majeure, the Goethe-Institut must be informed immediately.
    • If reasons of illness are being claimed, these must be proven by submitting a doctor’s note to the Goethe-Institut no later than 3 working days after the date of the exam. This also applies if the exam is discontinued, due to illness, after it has started.
  • If the exam didn’t take place and reasons of illness have been proven, the exam fee will be refunded in full.
  • If the candidate cancels the exam for reasons other than those mentioned above, 50% of the exam fee will be refunded, provided that the cancellation is made in writing no later than 72 hours before the start of the exam.
  • If the candidate does not show up for the exam or cancels it later than 72 hours before the start of the exam, she/he is not entitled to a refund of the exam fee. If the candidate is late, the schedule communicated by the Goethe-Institut must be adhered to.
  • In the event of cancellation by the Goethe-Institut, the full exam fee will be refunded.
