For which age groups are courses for children and youth offered?

We offer courses for children and teenagers from 6 to 17 years. As of 16 years, participants can register for adult courses. Individual and small group courses for children and teenagers can be booked at any time.

How many participants will there be in the course?

In children's courses there are up to 10 participants, in youth courses up to 13.

Do I need to buy a textbook?

For teen group courses, you will need to purchase a textbook. You will receive the necessary information about the textbook from the language course office before the course starts.

What are the technical requirements?

Mac, PC or laptop; tablet or iPad with external keyboard (smartphones and other small devices are not adequate) Headset with microphone Stable internet connection, WIFI with sufficient bandwidth, especially for the virtual meetings

At what age can teens register in adult courses?

From the age of 15, young individuals can also register in adult courses. If you prefer to learn only with participants of your own age, we recommend the youth courses.

In this course your children learn German in a fun way. Songs and audio-visual material promote the understanding of the language and the joy of discovering it. Reading and writing skills are not necessary in order to participate.

Learn German with youth your age! In this course you will quickly apply the learned content and will have a meaningful exchange about varied topics. With the help of our teachers and the diverse material you will certainly discover your passion for German.

This course is offered at the Goethe-Institut Montreal for group of age 12 to 15.
