The favourite place for the capital city's residents.

Right at the gates of the capital, there’s a lake with a very special feature: the Wannsee, which holds the record for being Europe's biggest bathing spot. So: pack your swimwear. If it’s not the weather for swimming, Berlin's city centre and the palaces and gardens of Potsdam are within easy reach.

The highlight at Wannsee is the elegant villa directly at the lake. The bathing area is not far from there.
