Mezzo soprano Isabella Shaw and pianist Maritta Manner perform German vocal music that deals with earthly love and eternity. Music is heard from composers such as Gustav Mahler, Johannes Brahms, Alban Berg, Charles Ives and Joseph Marx. This concert focuses on the idea of endless love and the eternal search for one's place in the world.
