What can you do with German? More than you might think! In this Business Lunch series of 45-minute online talks, speakers from a wide range of industries, career stages and backgrounds share how they learned German and how they use the language in their professional lives. Whether working in international companies, abroad, or in creative fields – German opens doors!

Each session is moderated by a member of the Goethe-Institut and begins with a short introduction in German. The Q&A that follows is in English. Participants are encouraged to prepare questions in advance and will receive a worksheet to create a speaker profile during the session.

The talks are hosted via Microsoft Webinar and recorded. Recordings are available to schools upon request. If attending with a class, please ensure the session is shown on a screen with working speakers.

This series is for:
  • Secondary students (Year 8 and above)
  • University students
  • Teachers and other interested individuals
