In addition to all the facets mentioned above, there is one more that plays a central role when discussing the work processes in exhibition management: internal communication. Whether working on a large scale or a small scale with a close circle of friends, internal communication often escapes our attention. Regular evaluations, internal discussions, and good conflict management will be important topics to be deliberated in this module. How do members of a team maintain a good working relationship with each other? What processes can be applied to a project that uses volunteers? What must be done in order to create a working environment where people are not afraid of “making mistakes”? Do we need a system of punishment and reward? How do we find communication methods that are suitable for the often ego-driven art scene?
