The challenges and advantages of finding a balance between work and family are always important—this applies to Germany as well. Germany’s well-organized work system and strong emphasis on quality of life offer a unique range of opportunities for professionals who want to emigrate together with their families. In this sharing session we will consider how best to harmonize work and family for Indonesian migrants in Germany. We will also provide tips for achieving this balance in Germany. With Nur Aulia Rahman as speaker, who has experience on this topic, the event aims to share with you information that is as precise and reliable as possible. It is also intended to aid those who want to pursue a career in Germany and have their families with them for a new adventure in Germany.

You can register until 30 January 2025. A selection of participants interested in the event will be made.
The seminar is part of the AMIF project “Pre-integration and Transition Management in Southeast Asia”. The project is a Goethe-Institut initiative funded by the European Union. Potential immigrants to Germany will be prepared for their path to integration through various events and offers.

Aulia currently works as a compensation specialist in a software company based in Munich and draws on extensive experience thanks to a similar position in Singapore. Before moving to Germany in 2018 for his master’s program, Aulia regularly commuted between Singapore, where he worked, and Jakarta, where his family lived. After a long waiting period during the Covid-19 pandemic, his wife and daughter finally decided in July 2021 to make Munich their new home.
