The Road to Seriale Indonesia 2026 programme serves as a pre-festival initiative aimed at expanding networks and fostering dialogue on the development of series in Indonesia. On this occasion, the event takes place in Surabaya in collaboration with Wisma Jerman as the hosting partner.

Through the screening of selected series and a sharing session, the programme creates a meeting space for creators, film communities, and the wider public interested in the evolving landscape of serial storytelling.

This collaboration seeks to encourage the exchange of ideas, strengthen creative networks, and stimulate reflective and collaborative dialogue on the future of series production in Indonesia.

Wisma Jerman

Wisma Jerman, the German House, is located in Surabaya, Indonesia’s second-largest city on the east coast of Java. Founded in 2011 as an Indonesian foundation, Wisma Jerman represents a unique global collaboration between the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK/EKONID) and the Goethe-Institut Indonesia, supported by the German Embassy.
