We are happy to invite you to the next installment of the ArtHouse Cinema program on Tuesday, the 12th of January 2016. This time we will screen the film called Renn wenn du kannst directed by Dietrich Brüggemann.
Ben and Christian fell in love with the same woman. Since Ben is confined to a wheelchair, Christian is doing his alternative civilian service as Ben’s attendant. Both get to know the cello player Annika, who is in the middle of her stressful, overwhelming music studies. It’s an unusual story of a love triangle told with absurd dialogues and lots of black humor.
Renn wenn du kannst (Run if you can) is different than classical stories about the ménage à trois and brings in the difficulty of Ben’s serious physical disability. The story of the movie wins more in depth while telling about the doubts and fears of the three characters.
