Jan and Jule are two strangers who embark on a road trip across Western Europe in a 303 camper van. Jan intends to go to Spain, Jule to Portugal. Intense conversations and debates transpire between the two, but as they spend more time together, will falling in love becomes inevitable?
Hans Weingartner
Hans Weingartner was born in 1977 in Feldkirch / Vorarlberg (Austria). After school he began to study Neurosciences in Vienna and Berlin. Additionally, he later did a qualification for camera assistant at the Austrian Association of Cinematography. He graduated in both studies. After that, Weingartner began to study Film and Television at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, with a scholarship from the state for the very highly talented. His first film Das weisse Rauschen got enthusiastic reviews and won dozens of awards. In 2004, his film Die fetten Jahre sind vorbei (The Edukators) was shown in the official competition of the film festival in Cannes. It was shown in more than 50 countries.
