Teaching and learning processes should not be focused exclusively on the teacher, but rather be a process that actively involves each student. In this seminar, the speakers will present various collaborative learning strategies inspired by the ‘Cooperative Learning Toolbox’ (Werkzeugkasten Kooperatives Lernen).

Structured, interactive and exciting methods of group work are presented, such as think-pair-share, group puzzles, placemats, ball bearings and team tournaments. These approaches encourage all learners to participate actively, take responsibility within the team and contribute their ideas and opinions with confidence.

The seminar focuses not only on specific learning techniques, but also on establishing a motivating learning culture. It demonstrates that well-designed group work deepens understanding of content, strengthens communication skills, promotes self-confidence and develops cooperative skills in young people in the long term.

The speakers are convinced that when pupils learn together in the right way, they not only perform better, they also learn to grow together.
