Till Lassmann is an illustrator, he made Hamburg the city of his choice in 2006 and is now father of two small daughters. “I love all the things Hamburg has to offer in the way of culture, even though I feel I should make more use of them,” he says. Lassmann is very glad about the Hamburger Öffentlichen Bücherhallen (Hamburg’s public libraries), which he often goes to with his children. But what does he, as a creative artist, think of the Elbe Philharmonic Hall, Hamburg’s new, shining landmark? Is it edging out subculture? We asked him five questions. Mr Lassmann, how do you, as a citizen of Hamburg, react to the Elbe Philharmonic Hall?
