Artificial Intelligence Creative and Critical

Under the theme “My Future with AI,” the winning entries vividly demonstrate how creatively and critically young people engage with artificial intelligence. Whether through visual art, video, or music, the diversity of perspectives is truly impressive.

The competition was accompanied by a comprehensive educational programme for students and teachers. Project partners including UC Berkeley, c’t magazine, and Cornelsen Publishing offered a series of online workshops. Fifteen Goethe-Institutes around the world, from San Francisco and Rabat to New Delhi, and from Kraków to Taipei, took part in the initiative. New features of KIKUK 2.0 included an international collaboration phase in which participants worked in cross-border teams, as well as a teachers’ competition that challenged participants to create AI-generated promotional campaigns for their German language programmes. An international jury selected the best submissions, which were honoured at a festive awards ceremony.
