Activating students is one of the most important – and sometimes most difficult – challenges any teacher faces. The Goethe-Institut in India has therefore put together a series of cultural events and competitions designed to help you motivate your students and to make learning German more fun.

Youth Camps

Students experience Germany through creative and playful activities, deepen their language skills and strengthen their intercultural competences.

  • KIKUK 2.0

    We are launching the global youth competition“KIKUK 2.0“ for the second time! This year’s motto is“My Future with AI”. The KIKUK competition once again invites students from around the world to engage creatively and critically with the use of artificial intelligence.

  • International German Olympiad

    The International German Olympiad (IDO) is the world’s largest competition for learners of German. Young people aged 14–17 demonstrate their knowledge of German and have the chance to win the title of best German learner.
