Teachers also need to master many additional skills to be successful in their profession. They are in constant communication with school leaders, parents and colleagues, have to adapt flexibly to changes and always be empathetic towards their students. 

To strengthen the soft skills of teachers and build self-confidence, we are organising a full-day training on 25.02.2023.

About the subject expert

Rita Sen is a trained postgraduate in English Literature. She retired in 2015 after a long stint as Principal, DPS Rohini, Delhi, a school that she founded and nurtured for 20 years. Recipient of the National Award for Teachers from the President of India in 2007, Ms Sen was also appointed by the LG, Delhi as a member of the Delhi Education Advisory Board for 2 terms. She served as the Chief Nodal Officer for Class XII CBSE evaluation for English Core for many years, was a CBSE Master Trainer for CCE and was the recipient of a certificate for in-service training from the Principal’s Training College, London, UK. Ms Sen is also a successful author with Encyclopedia Britannica and Encyclopedia Indiannica.
