Convid-19 did change our lives, no matter where we live. Nerissa Abu Hanna and Heinrich Voelkel used the matters of photography to document the the circumstances of daily life in Jordan and Germany during the Corona outbreak.
Through combining emotional, private and documentary approaches to the theme and the permanent exchange between the two, they arrived at a highly subjective way of experiencing their worlds together.
By combining their visions they try to recreate the feel and look of Jordan and Germany rather unified by the world change. But, as it is sometimes not clear, what is where, the onlooker needs to decide themselve how universal loss, fear and salvation are to be experienced.
