Rabbit à la Berlin - Mauerhase/ Esterhazy

Film Series

Film Series (c) Goethe-Institut

A paradise in the death strip. Following the construction of the Berlin wall, wild rabbits settled in the narrow ribbon of land that ran between the double frontier wall, gradually mushrooming in numbers. Life without enemies was peaceful, but offered only limited possibilities; this all changed with the fall of the Berlin wall. The animals were not prepared for their new-found freedom.
