“Birds who forgot to fly”

A tamil play developed by Anne-Kathrin Klatt and students of the Jaffna University Theater and Drama Arts.

The fable explores the aspect of freedom amongst a colony of birds. Freedom to choose a way of life, the own inner freedom which enables us humans to develop visions and utopias. If we loose our wings we become impotent creatures, subject to manipulation who are scared to defend our right to determine our own path. Characters like “Krah” the manipulative, mighty oppressor of this story are a global phenomenon.
