Currently you can register by calling or sending us an e-mail. An application is still possible even if the course has already started.


​Registration period for German courses 
30.9.2023 - 15.10.2023, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

A levels test will help select the most appropriate level for you. This assessment is free of charge and you can take the test online. 

To get access to the test

• Send an e-mail to Khaing.Zin.Latt.extern@goethe.de to register placement test.
• You will receive a link and password for the test via e-mail.
• Fill in your data and enter the test with your password.
• After a few days, you will receive a Zoom link and password for the oral exam.
• After the oral exam, you will receive a precise result, such as A1.2, B2.1, etc., for your placement test.

The course fee for the agreed course must be paid by bank transfer at the beginning of the course. You will receive all information by e-mail.

It is only possible to withdraw from the course (up to the third day of teaching) in exceptional and justifiable cases (illness with doctor’s certificate).
Course fees will be reimbursed less the costs of any lessons already attended and an administrative charge of 10.000 MMK. Test fees will be reimbursed less an administrative charge of 10.000 MMK if the person due to take the test provides at least one week’s advance written notification that he or she will not be taking the test.

Payment

The fee for the agreed course must be paid in cash in Kyat at the start of the course.
The text book is not included in the course fee and has to be paid for separately.

Cancellation

If the course participant is unable to attend the course, the following cancellation policy shall apply: reimbursement of the course fee (less the costs of any lessons already attended and an administrative charge of 10.000 MMK) is only possible if the course participant provides a written declaration that he or she is no longer able to attend the course. This declaration must be submitted by the third day of teaching at the latest.

Assignment to courses/class size

The Goethe-Institut Myanmar reserves the right to cancel courses with an insufficient number of participants. In addition, we reserve the right to make changes to the course system. A lesson (1 UE) lasts for 45 minutes.

Obligations of course participants

Course participants are obliged to comply with the course and house rules in place at the Goethe-Institut.

Liability of the Goethe-Institut/force majeure

The liability of the Goethe-Institut and its employees shall be limited to cases of wilful intent and gross negligence. The Goethe-Institut shall also not be liable for any inability to provide its services due to force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, fire, flooding, war, official decrees and any other circumstances that lie beyond the control of the contractual parties).
