Teenage siblings Hannah and Timo grow up sheltered and devout in a strictly evangelical free church family, their days shaped by prayer, discipline and the expectation of absolute purity. Hannah has taken a vow of chastity that forbids any physical intimacy before marriage, a promise she has embraced with genuine conviction, until Max, the new boy next door, moves in and her certainty begins to waver. At the same time her younger brother Timo starts to realize that he is attracted to men, a truth that has no place in the world their parents have built for them. As both siblings quietly begin to question the rigid principles that have always defined their lives, they are forced to choose between the faith that raised them and the people they are becoming.
