International Conference Of German Teachers (IDT)

The world's largest conference for German as a second and foreign language, the International German Teachers' Conference (IDT), will take place in Lübeck from July 28 to August 1, 2025. The motto is „Vielfalt wagen – mit Deutsch“. Philippine teachers of German as a foreign language in public institutions (public schools, Philippine PASCH/ Fit schools, Philippine universities teaching German as a foreign language, the Goethe-Institut Philippines as the official cultural centre of Germany) can take advantage of publicly funded scholarships through the Goethe-Institut to participate, network, and further your education with German teachers from all over the world.

...is the motto of the International Conference of German Teachers (IDT) 2025. In our globalized and complex world, diversity is a prerequisite for the teaching and learning of German as a foreign and second language. This motto is an invitation to further explore the potential of this diversity from a scientific perspective with and at IDT 2025 and to dare to embrace even more diversity in the teaching and learning of German.
