How were the participants determined?

All participants participated in a video competition. In a three-minute film, they addressed an environmental problem at their school, city or country in German and outlined an approach to the problem solving. A jury selected four students per country from all the entries.

What German language skills do I need to have as a participant?

Since our language of communication for this international project is German, a good knowledge of German (A2+) is required. If possible, these are to be proven by an examination, Fit in Deutsch 1. If exams could not be conducted, an individual inquiry is possible.

What do I have to bear in mind when traveling to Thailand as part of the project?

The project is aimed at secondary school students aged 15 to 17 (18). Up to 4 students per country can participate. They will be accompanied by a teacher. All travelers must be fully vaccinated according to the Thai government’s “Sandbox requirements”.

Who will support me in my participation in the Climate Network?

You will be accompanied by a teacher. In addition, the alumni of the PASCH network will support you with questions and problems. And of course the team of the Goethe-Institut Thailand is there for you!

Who will finance my participation?

Costs for flights, accommodation, meals, insurance and social program are borne by the Goethe-Institut of the SAN region (Southeast Asia/Australia/New Zealand).
