Bangkok Book Festival 2016
Festival|Literary, graphical, amazing works - we bring you German comics and graphic novels to Bangkok!
Following the great success of the 2015 Bangkok Book Festival, Bookmoby is now organizing the festival for the second time, offering a very diversified programme on the topics of art and literature. The Goethe-Institut Thailand will once again participate with a series of Germany-related contributions.
In line with the main topic “Literature and Comics”, we look forward to presenting a range of activities with the Berlin comic artist Jakob Hinrichs, who has already made two graphic adaptations of the classic works “Dream Story” and “The Drinker”.
Other Goethe-Institut contributions include a talk on the role of literature festivals today and the presentation of a film adaptation of the literary work „Fontane Effie Briest“.
