Vocal Recital: “An Evening of Lieder and Opera Arias”

“An Evening of Lieder and Opera Arias” is an exciting opportunity to hear the outstanding Thai soprano Pijarin Wiriyasakdakul at the outset of a promising career in music.  Already a competition winner and soloist with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, Miss Pijarin will present a well-rounded evening of vocal masterpieces in preparation for the 51st International Singing Competition of Toulouse, France. The prestigious event, held bi-annually in September, features an international group of singers pre-selected for prior success in vocal competitions.
 
A second year student of Ajarn Nancy Tsui-Ping Wei at Mahidol University, College of Music’s vocal department, Miss Pijarin will be joined by three equally outstanding classmates:  sopranos Duangamorn Fu, Thanaporn Promweang, and baritone Prad Malakul Na Ayudhaya.
