Concert|Folk songs, Songs, Chansons – Songs of Love and Yearning
-
Goethe-Saal, Bangkok
- Price Free Admission
Singer Sigune von Osten has prepared a special programme for this evening, revealing to the audience varied facets of love and the great color of her voice. The programme takes us from the simplicity of international folk songs through racy foxtrots, sad blues, foot-tapping marches and furious tangos to romping waltzes. The concert will take place on February 1st, 2017 at the Goethe Saal free of charge.
All of the pieces were written during the first half of the 20th century by three composers with classical backgrounds. The Frenchman Eric Satie, the German Kurt Weill and the Italian Luciano Berio.
This is an evening of both vocal and emotional fireworks. It opens “New Horizons/Hearizons“ (“Neue Ho(e)rizonte“) - the title of Sigune von Ostens new project.
