This coming March the Goethe-Institut Thailand is pleased to present two evenings of musical poetry. Accompanied by pianist Boris Schoenleber, Katharina Padrok (mezzo-soprano) and Sebastian Myrus (baritone) will perform 37 short pieces from Hugo Wolf's cycle of songs - "Italianisches Liederbuch". This was the title given to a series of popular Italian love poems which the composer set to music at the end of the nineteenth century.

The concert times and venues are as follows:
21/03/2017 at 19:30 hrs. Goethe Saal, the Goethe-Institut Thailand.
22/03/2017 at 17:00 hrs. in the  auditorium of Building 11, Conservatory of Music, Rangsit University.
(The duration of the concert programme is approximately one hour.)

Katharina Padrok ©Katharina Padrok Katharina Padrok is a much sought-after soloist with an extensive repertoire. She has performed at home and abroad, including Vietnam, where she and Boris Schönleber both give master classes at the Hanoi National Conservatory. Sebastian Myrus ©Sebastian Myrus Sebastian Myrus has performed as a soloist with many well-known European ensembles, largely concentrating on religious music and, in particular, the works of Bach. His greatest passion, however, is ensemble singing. Amongst the most acclaimed vocal and soloist ensembles, he is very much in demand.
