During a short trip to Berlin, Australian photojournalist Clare happens to meet charismatic Andi. Mutually attracted to each other, they end up spending the night together. What at first appears to be the beginning of a romance, takes an unexpected, dark twist. When Clare awakes the following morning, Andi has already left for work, locking her in the apartment. Clare assumes he did so by mistake until she realizes that Andi has no intention of ever letting her go.
