Eight-year-old Sammy has lost his favorite pet and sets out to find him. Little hamster Raffi, a gift from Sammy’s father, has been kidnapped. Rocky the smuggler, who had just been released from jail, stole Sammy’s mother’s car while Raffi was still in it. Sammy’s father works in Afghanistan and he misses him just as much as he misses his hamster. He searches for Raffi all over Hamburg and has to endure several ordeals before he can hold his little darling in his hands again.
