Seven-year-old Adrian grows up in Salzburg with his heroin-addicted mother Helga. She loves her son dearly but cannot fight her addiction. Despite the difficult circumstances, Adrian’s world is exciting and his childhood is a happy one. But it is not an idyllic, harmonious type of happiness. When Helga finally admits to her addiction and seeks professional help, mother and son are suddenly faced with an even greater challenge...
