For more than six decades, Alexander Kluge has been conducting a filmic reflection on the composition of our media society. He gathers all conceivable kinds of visuals together in his playfully cryptic cinematic streams of consciousness, letting the abstract collide with the concrete, the past with the future. And now he has found a congenial sparring partner in the Philippine iconoclast, Khavn De La Cruz.
